Catherine Burke appointed Managing Director of combined business
office2office plc (o2o) today announced that its two business communications subsidiaries, AccessPlus and TPF Group, are coming together under the new ‘Banner Managed Communication (BMC)’ brand with immediate effect.
The business will be headed up by former TPF Group Client Services Director Catherine Burke, who has been appointed Managing Director. After 10 months as interim Managing Director of AccessPlus and TPF Group, and having led the successful integration of the two businesses, Steve McKeever reverts to his group operations and strategy role on o2o’s Board.
The move to a unified brand will create a streamlined and efficient operation with a mandate to deliver o2o’s very ambitious plans within the business communications market. BMC will maintain, and build upon, the service-driven culture that was a hallmark of both AccessPlus and TPF, whilst also establishing a prominent position as a thought leader and innovator within its sector.
The combined range of services offered by BMC will extend way beyond conventional print management. In fact BMC will be one of a small minority of suppliers able to provide truly integrated end-to-end business communications solutions. The core customer proposition will be presented in the form of ‘four pillars’: Print Management, Document Management, Marketing Services and Direct Marketing. Each of the four specialist services will be supported by expertise in Logistics and Consultancy.
Simon Moate, Chief Executive of o2o plc said: “Unifying all our business communications activities under the Banner Managed Communication name, and under Catherine’s leadership, will enable us to take the next big step forward to become a major force within this market.
Our proposition is all about helping customers achieve their goals by improving the quality, efficiency and sustainability of their communications. This fits perfectly with the services provided by other parts of o2o group and therefore gives us an excellent opportunity to both broaden, and deepen, our key public and private sector client relationships.”
New BMC Managing Director, Catherine Burke, commented: “Banner Managed Communication has all the attributes for success in our market – loyal clients, a strong, diverse supplier base, great people and a winning proposition. We’ll be in a position to announce a number of important account wins over the coming weeks and, looking further out, we already have a very healthy new business pipeline in place.”
BMC will benefit from the financial stability and balance sheet strength that comes with being part of a successful stock-market quoted business. Such considerations are especially important at a time when clients are seeking to mitigate potential risks to their supply chain.
BMC, in common with every o2o business, will be defined by the high priority given to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A group-wide philosophy – ‘Good for you. Good for us. Good for everyone.’ – is the platform for o2o’s excellent CSR reputation and will underpin all BMC’s activities.
