Boring old drip coffee makers have no personality. You want to make a statement with your kitchen appliances, don’t you? Well take a gander at Kees van der Westen’s line of espresso machines, which would have me drinking twice as much coffee just because I would want to play with them every time I passed by.
Looking like they belong attached to a ‘57 Chevy, these machines pump out hot cups of espresso using multiple boilers that can be switched on or off independently of each other, allowing for very closely regulated temperatures. They aren’t set to go into production until next year, and when they do, expect high price tags. But just look at ‘em!

I have an Espresso machine that was previously used with non-kosher coffee beans and probably also with non-kosher milk. The machine has been used only a couple of times in the past, and has been rarely used over the last couple of months.
So, I am absolutely in love with espresso (oddly, I cant stand the taste of coffee), but I would love to be able to make espresso whenever I please and not have to pay BIG BUCKS for those tiny DoubleShots. Ive been looking into machines and while there are many $100 ones, I was curious if anyone out there has one around $60 and under that works great, what it is and where I can find one….
