A Single Cup Coffee Machine Means Variety | 9999 Articles

You can obtain single cup coffee maker pods in a range of flavours, from espresso to hazelnut to French Vanilla to just about any flavour you can think of. There are a number of coffee manufacturers who offer coffee pods, including Starbucks and a range of organic coffee producers, so you have no dearth of choice in terms of coffee producers.

This means that any time you want, you can enjoy a wide variety of coffee flavours. Traditional coffee makers tend to make 12 to 14 cups at time, which means that each time you need to make a big pot of coffee. If you are making coffee for two or more people, then everyone has to have the same type of coffee.

This isn’t always the best situation, for instance, maybe you prefer espresso and your significant other prefers hazelnut. Or maybe you’re having some friends over, and each prefers a certain flavour of coffee. If you were making coffee using a traditional coffee maker, then everyone would just have to have the same flavour of coffee.

This is not the case when you own a single cup coffee maker. Because the coffee maker makes coffee one cup at a time, you can make each cup of coffee a different flavour, if you so choose. Just pick the flavour of coffee pod that you or your friend are in the mood for, and press the button – you’ll have a cup of coffee within half a minute, and then you can go on to make another cup, in another flavour.

I have a stovetop espresso maker, but I want to use it to brew one to two cups of coffee with my “regular” coffee beans. I don’t want to use my big electric coffee maker to make a cup of coffee.

Villaware V003-41810 Aromatico Stovetop Espresso Maker – 10 cup Buy $ 31.99

May 17th, 2010 admin

When I bought it, the coffee spurted up and out of the lid even when the lid was closed. My husband put a bolt or something to redirect the coffee down.

Water escaped through the steam valve. My husband put a seal around the edge of the valve.

Lastly, it will overflow if you fill the bottom with water. You have to be careful about the water level. Fill it to just below the pressure/steam release.

Mostly I use my older pot (not this one) because of the overflow issue. Just pay attention and it won’t happen.

6 Cup Espresso Stovetop Coffeemaker in Polished Alluminum Overview

COF6000 With the invention of the stovetop espresso coffee maker, espresso – long a staple of Italian caf s and bars – became available for home consumption. As the cold water in the lower chamber heats, the pressure from its boiling forces the water up through the coffee grounds. In just a few minutes, espresso emerges from the spout into the upper chamber as the pot hisses and gurgles. Remove the pot from the heat and let it stand until the lower chamber is releasing only steam. The lower water tank holds a metal filter and features a safety valve. The upper tank fills with perfectly brewed coffee. Now Italy’s favorite aluminum coffeemaker can go to work in your kitchen, making delicious espresso on gas or electric stovetops. Now available in a mirror finished aluminum. Features: -Coffeemaker. -Mirror polished aluminum. -Sizes based on 1.5 ounce ”cups” . Inking Aloud: Make Your Own Topiary

    Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Before we introduce the newest release on Saturday (how is it October already??!!), I have one final project featuring Topiaries, September’s Stamp of the Month from Clear and Simple Stamps. If you want to add this set to your collection, you have a few more days to use the discount code CSS0910 for a $1 discount on your purchase of the set.

Here’s my Topiaries-inspired project. I made my own faux topiary using a plain Styrofoam ball and a bunch of small cardstock circles. This was so easy to do and turned out great. I started by punching out a bunch of circles from a piece of Kraft Like a Rockstar Green cardstock. Once I had a good pile going, I started pinning them to the Styrofoam ball using plain straight pins. I kept at it until the ball was almost completely covered, leaving just a tiny uncovered space so I could easily poke the end of a dowel through the ball to stand it up in my small flower pot. I painted the dowel brown with acrylic paint first to fit nicely with my color scheme. To hold the dowel securely in place, I squeezed some floral foam into the bottom of the little flower pot. I also cut a circular piece of Kraft Like a Rockstar Green to fit the inside of the flower pot to cover the floral foam. I threaded the circle on to the dowel before sticking the end down into the floral foam, then tied a pretty bow around the dowel at the base of the topiary. A squirt or two of Sparkle Shimmer Spritz added a fun sparkle to the project.

Now comes the stamping part. I stamped one of the topiary images along with one of the pots on a cream panel using Espresso Your Style ink. I inked around the edges with brown ink, then attached it to an Espresso Your Style panel before machine stitching underneath the image. The panel is embellished with a pair of buttons. I punched a hole through the top and ran some twine through it. I used the twine to attach my simple tag to the topiary through the knot in the bow. The topiary and matching tag make a lovely gift for someone like me who does not have a green thumb–LOL!

    Materials Used:
Topiaries stamp set, Espresso Your Style ink, Espresso Your Style, Kraft Like a Rockstar Green, and On the Catwalk Cream cardstock, Espresso Your Style satin ribbon, Espresso Your Style buttons (Clear and Simple Stamps); Creamy Caramel Classic ink (Stampin’ Up!); ¾” circle punch (EK Success); Sparkle Shimmer Spritz (Tsukineko); twine (Papertrey Ink); brown acrylic paint; clay pot; Styrofoam ball; straight pins; dowel; floral foam
